Skukuza, Kruger National Park

Camp Review

Skukuza, KNP

General Impression

Large busy camp, very sandy – not a blade of grass in sight.  Difficult to determine which site is which.  Otherwise a well set up camp with many facilities and in a convenient location.

Ablutions

Clean, hot water, good shower pressure.   Dressing Area in the showers is small, better to use disabled shower.   Baths are narrow – meant for kids and small shouldered adults

Electricity

Yes but a long cord is needed

Water

Yes but shared amongst sites

Facilities

Plentiful – ATM, Fuel, Internet Café, Restaurant (expensive and not all that tasty), shop, laundry.

Would we re-visit?

Yes, but only as a stopover.  Too busy to spend much time here.
