Ihaha, Chobe National Park, Botswana

Camp Review

Ihaha, Chobe National Park, Botswana

General Impression

Magnificent. There are only 10 sites but they are set far apart so you feel like you are on your own.  They are right on the Chobe River and the view across Namibia is breath-taking.  It is unfenced, so the animals are free to wander where they please.

Ablutions

Average.  Clean with hot water with average pressure.

Electricity

No

Water

Shared but drinkable

Facilities

None

Would we re-visit?

For sure, the view and peace alone make it worthwhile, add in a few lion roars and other animals and it’s a must.  Birding is also very good with nice water birds.

A 4X4 is necessary as it is extremely sandy and slow going.
